This years Tequila Trail led us to the Boudarys Waters.  These lakes form the boundary between the US and Canadian border at Minnesota.

Sea Gulls Outfitters - Starting point

Here we are, ready to head out, no knowing what perils lie ahead.  This year, there were 9 of us, ranging from 12 to 60 years old. We contacted Seagull Outfitters www.seagulloutfitters.com to help us out.  They supplied everything we needed…we only needed our personal gear.  The trip was seven days in the wilderness, paddling and and portaging our gear over 50 miles as we searched for campsites wildlife, and fish.

Taxi!

Our gear included 9 personal duluth packs, 3 food barrels, and 3 gear packs.  Over 800 pounds of gear.  We loaded up, and headed our via our river taxi for a 6 mile ride to Honeymoon Island…our launch location.  All the gear was sorted, and loaded into our 3 canoes.

Where's my stuff!

Heading out! Don't capsize the boat.
